BRAIN ABUSE

Yesterday I saw a claw on the sidewalk, just a claw. Today I saw a man carrying an ice cooler marked, "HUMAN BLOOD". 

There are no dogs on my vision board! :< I must remedy that

I saw DIE BRUCKE and BONNARD. Kirchner is obvs the crowd pleaser and rightly so but the secret star of the show was Heckel / Henckel?  His stuff has this very charming "special olympic"-ness. It was basically like Girls Gone Wild (lotsa naked, girls lifting skirts, etc) a century back. Gotta love that lime green! My favorite Bonnard interiors flattened tabletop & windows, funny lazy painted checkerboard and stripey tablecloths, women falling out of the sides of paintings. There's a very nice cat somewhere in there too. Also at the met we saw this woman riding a horse all made of gold that was a secret cup if you took the horsehead off and it was on wheels and apparently it would wheel around the table and whoever it stopped in front of would have to drink from it.  !!  Also we got the most ultimate b&w cookies.

For my job I was asked to write a "bio". Here is mine: 

Donna is a teaching artist and birthday party staff. She is an artist and a human being. She enjoys interacting with children, animals, aliens, and ghosts. She is overeducated in the plastic arts and has read everything published by Jacques Ranciere. Her own work is exhibited right here in the rotten apple but fails to generate any income. YAY Donna!

There was a girl on Jeopardy Tournament of Champions today that TOTES has Aspergers. Of course she won. Is this fair?

I saw the most beautiful shiba inu today in a shiny yellow raincoat!!!!!!

He kept shaking to try to get it off.

Thanks Alex for the adventuring! The haul: two patterny dresses, two hippy dresses, one flapper dress, one blouse, a woven thing with a cat on it, a velvet thing that goes around your neck, and a sequined vest. I also got a green balloon from the bar as it was St. Patricks Day.

Also today I broke the no shopping thing with a vengeance: organizer and two pairs of scissors at the Muji store, (Kippenberger with Tim and Peter), (Korean food), (meeting with Paula),my first and most likely only piece of Obama merchandise, a P&P Records tote - special edition at Academy Records, cardamom, coriander, clove, candle, mustardseed at Indian spice store, yellow Zig Zags at the shoe repair, 18x24 screen at Standard Screen Supply, (iced tea and rice krispy treat), giant crochet hook at the Polish craft store next to White Dream.

Whew! I'm out of cash.

PS. Today was especially exciting for Tim also because he found "Donkeys Bearing Cups". Also we were mistaken for undergrads.

I really am a cat burglar now!

We saw a sign for this today, on our walk. I bought "sensible" shoes and some books. Tim came up with the best name for a band: YUMMY MOON.

more morning weirdness

So this morning I was brushing my teeth and I started spitting out red water. I looked in the mirror and there was blood dripping between my front teeth, it was so bizarre. My mouth got all bloody like a hockey player and who knows where it came from?
