I woke up at 2pm today. What have I been doing? I went to some German bars, some German parties, the ultimate "contemporary classical" ever, purchased a giant stuffed crocodile, discovered "torrents", (Gossip Girl is pretty shame face making), worked on OJ, predator, etc.etc. up next gaga and rutger hauer. maybe heroes. I was "sourcing" locally and found Black Power chocolate. Perhaps combined with "/amerikaner" cookies for the opening?

PS I'm giving infinite jest a second shot since I owe one to DFW, I am past page 60 now. proud!

Tim claims he has an "artistic temperment", aka "judgemental asshole". It's ok, me too. Antwerp is still possibly the best place ever. Lots of pent-up shop till you drop - ing. Brussels felt kind of like the Washington DC of Europe, but actually better.

They don't dance all that well. I tried out some ABDC inspired moves at a show.

The "royal" museum or whatever had HECKA BRUEGELS!?!? both of them. !?!? worth it for sure.

We had a David Lynch moment in a Thai restaurant. We saw only one Schipperke but it was a pretty special one. In fact no one in Belgium seemed to know anything about this dog.

chocolate = very good. waffles = off the chain. french fries = french fries.

I drank so much more beer than I wanted to.

The best things I didn't buy: giant crystal parallelogram (with rainbows in it) (€?), COS dress (€60), poncho/thing (€90), big stuffed animal seal (€250 WTFFFF!?)

Tim went bonkers in the record stores, they are really good FYI.

Also they play classical music in the subway in Brussels, how classy is that.
